1984 Chevy K20 Conversion
This is  Scott Lusk's  truck who is a PFC in the Marines. We started restoring this truck about 1.5yrs
back. It was coming a long but he ran out of money and then it was time for him to leave for boot
camp. So I decided since he loved diesels so much but couldn't afford one. I would help him out.

I removed the BBC                                                                                                    And set in a 98 5.9
I had to remove the stock engine crossmember, notch the front crossmember to aid in maintenance in the
future, and build new engine mounts. On this truck I tried to keep it simple and easy because my pocket book
was very empty now.  Here are some pictures of the engine crossmember.
I made this crossmember out of pieces I had on hand and it will unbolt if needed to be. The tubing is 1/4" thick, I wanted
to ensure proper strength.
Here are some pictures of trying to get the engine set in there before the actual mounts were built.

On the trailer on it's way to the body shop.
Starting body work.
